my parents (two truly excellent people), Flea (he's the reason I started playing bass), John Frusciante (came back from near-death to make more beautiful music with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the obstacles that this guy has overcome are an inspiration), the rest of the Red Hot Chili Peppers (they're one of the reasons I'm doing what I'm doing); Marilyn Manson (for both his intelligence and his talent), George Harrison (one of the most underrated musicians ever)
