Joe Migz

I grew up in Lindenhurst, NY and started drumming at around the age of eight. During high school I studied with a local teacher and played with local bands. I went on to study percussion at the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College and graduated with a Bachelor of Music in percussion performance. While in college I played many orchestral and musical theater shows at major theaters and venues throughout the country including Carnegie Hall.While I consider college to have been an invaluable experience, my true passion lies with hard rock/metal drumming.I have performed and recorded with an eclectic mix of New York-based rock bands including Duro, Sanity in Ashes, Destroying the Evidence, Narcotic, Half Circle Drive, and most recently KHZ.
