My name is Susanna but my nick name is Sassy. I am a fun-loving woman who enjoys life to the fullest. I live each day as if it were my last, because you just never know when the sun is going to set. I am from New Orleans and I am just so happy to be alive and well. I have friends who were in that filthy mess... on the rooftops of their homes for days or living in less than unsanitary conditions in the superdome or having to loot just to survive. For those of you who care check out my blog and THANK YOU. I have always had a positive outlook on life but this experience has taught me to have an even deeper appreciation for life and my loved ones. I am a Cosmetology Instructor, a Salon Manager and I also freelance for Modelling Agencys, Hotels, T.V.and Film. I am the creative type(right brain). I have an up-beat personality. I am bi-racial and loving it. I am a music enthusiast. I have an opened mind. I am a liberal with a few conservative thoughts. I am a very passionate and compassionate person. I am the one that everyone confides in. I am everybody's best friend and I take great pride in that quality. I am an advocate for peace. I love to travel and stay in nice hotels, sitting by the pool with a good book. I really love roses/tulips. I enjoy good company and conversations of substance. I am not one for a bunch of meaningless chit chat. That would bore me to tears. I have an insatiable thirst for knowledge which is why I enjoy talking to people that I can learn and grow from. I just enjoy intelligent people...period. To some I appear to be high maintenance because I like to keep myself up but actually... I take great pleasure in the more simple things in life. You probably wouldn't know that unless you took the time to look beneath the surface. The guys that think that way are usually the one's who can't afford to take a woman out for an ice cream cone? I do love life's little conveniences though. I love being around people who try to make my life easier. I'm a giver and not a taker so I try to surround myself with people cut from the same cloth as me so that I still have my positive vibrations at the end of the day. I don't like being around negativity because it exhausts my energy and throws me off balance. I have a wonderful 16 year old son named Matthew whom I adore. For me to be interested in a guy he must have INTEGRITY...and HIGH MORAL STANDARDS ...and CLASS...and ETTIQUETTE...and TABLE MANNERS...and BE POLITE...and THOUGHTFUL...and RESPECTFUL. He also must be A GENTLEMAN. Chivalry is not dead in my book. I love jokes and harmless pranks. I love to laugh.(heeheehee). See? My interests' range from one extreme to the other. I have so many that sometimes I can't seem to get anything done. As of right now though I'm writing my debut novel. It's a product of my vivid imagination.(I'm in the market for a good publisher.)
