Reading minds for fun, not personal gain. Soccer. Funny things, music and books and movies.
Erwin Rommel, Martin Jol, the Arcade Fire. Che Guevara, Wayne Coyne and Jeff Bradley so he can get me a job.
Anything indie and catchy. And a lot of other stuff as well.
Anything that falls into the semi-artsy but not too artsy category. Things like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, I Heart Huckabees and A Very Long Engagement. Movies that make you think a little bit.
Soccer, Adult Swim, Scrubs, not much else.
Pretty much anything by Nick Hornby, mcsweeneys.net, anything historical in nature, cookbooks, anything by a Latin American author. Modern fiction type stuff - sure the novel is a dying form, so I'm trying to figure out if there is anything worth saving, so far the answer is yes. Read Ian McEwan.
Owen Setter, Berbatov, Sufjan.
