Mr Tim

A few people have asked me recently what I want to do with my life, and the truth is that I don't know. Up until recently I was an events manager and promoter, but I got to the stage where I thought "do I actually enjoy this anymore?" and my answer was a resounding "no". I am, and have always been, a writer and an amateur artist, and I guess that's what i'll always be. Am I happy about this? You bet your arse I am.
So what about my beliefs? My dreams? My ambitions?
BELIEFS
I believe in God, but I do not believe in religion. I believe that we are living in a nanny state. I believe in gravity. I believe that there are no good or bad people, just light and darker shades in between. I believe that if you walk on broken glass you will be cut. I believe that we deserve to know what's in the food we're eating - and what it does to you. I believe that the media relies on speculation and fiction. I don't know if I believe in reincarnation or not - sometimes I think this life is a test, and if we fail, we have to go back and do it all again
DREAMS
Such an attainable dream - chilling out around a beach campfire with my friends and girlfriend, listening to someone sing with a guitar and watching the sun set. That would be heaven. Maybe watching the sun set over the mountains of guilin...or an alpine lake. Nothing inspires me more than a sunset.
AMBITIONS
To publish collected books of poetry. To write a play. To direct a film. To open a mixed media gallery. To generally be a nice person.
So yes...that's pretty much me. If you'd like to know a few random facts, read on! I love my family, friends and girlfriend more than anything. I studied Jeet Kune Do and Eskrima for 2 years. I am a member of Amnesty International. I collect 7" vinyl picture discs and anything with a blade. I love surfing pure and simple (but i'm really bad at it!) My favourite games of all time are probably Broken Sword I and II, although final fantasy VII and metal gear solid are close contenders. I love antiques - especially old knives and books about mythology. I hate being told what to do.
