I really haven't been listening to 'new' music in quite awhile. I followed what I think is more or less a anachronistically stereotypical arc in music tastes in my 'formative years' though seeing as how I suffer from excessive neuronal plasticity I may never have had any. Either way my first CD was NWA straight outta compton, years later I was headbanging to sepultura and the like, weed and whiplash. my first vinyl was emmanual top - turkish bazaar.
If I go out, I go out to get my stomp on .

I grew up on stephen king, william gibson, robert ludlum, isaac asimov, robert heinlein, greg bear, edgar allan poe, arthur c clarke. I expect that I read more books between 6-15 than I will for the rest of my life. these days the books around my bed all of the popular science vein notably exemplified by Gould, current toilet book is 'the collapse of Chaos'
