Anything catchy or poppy! I don't pretend to know a lot about music or care very much. New zutons and roazorlight albums are great though.
Movies:
Anything that makes you think a little bit and anything with Julia Roberts that is very predictable where you don't have to think at all!
Television:
dawson's creek, house, home and away, emmerdale....
Books:
middlemarch, anything by jane austen, jane eyre, Ian McEwan, Nick Hornby.
