What's good out there in the world!?! This is your people Sean. Well it's been a long journey to get to this point, growing up in Annapolis, doing my thing in the Army (what up Signal Corp!), then to Clark Atlanta University. This is where I caught "radio fever"... We didn't have a student station on campus so what did we do??? We started one, that's right me and about 20 of my closest friends along with 1 professor who believed in us, Mr. Bill Clark, kicked off WSTU Student Radio!!! WSTU is on MySpace, check em out! Started my internship over at KISS 104.7 (now KISS 104.1) and grinded for free. I met some good people over there and saw some real snakes in action also. Don't let anyone steal your shine, know what your purpose is and stick to it, remember that! In due time, that means after payin' dues, I was hired on staff. At KISS I worked with Kat Mama of The Kat Agency, cool Si-Man, Mix Master Mitch, Gwen Pringle and others. All of them taught me many things about the game. The station was sold and I was asked to stay, that doesn't happen too often... I met up with some "Brothers in Blue" around this time, PSI Chapter Spr 2000 #5 "The Fugitives"... After graduating from CAU I had a decision to make, I earned a full academic scholarship to Penn State but I wanted to stay on the radio scene in Atlanta... Well I ended up rolling out because after all, radio and Atlanta wasn't going anywhere... I had to sieze the day. I took my quest for knowledge up to Penn State, why stop at one degree when I can hold one in each hand. After completing the Master of Arts program I headed back down south to do my thing at WHTA-FM HOT 107.9 in Atlanta. That was my dream job and I landed it, nothing lasts forever though. What up Malcolm! Worked with Kat and Si again, it's a small world don't ever burn bridges. Then I moved over to 97.1 JAMZ (same company that purchased KISS back in the day), my lady was 2 months away from delivering my little girl when the plug was pulled on JAMZ!!! New Years Day 2006, we are chillin watching a parade on TV and I got the call, "we don't need you to come in tomorrow, we'll call you in a few days to discuss the specifics." That was a blower fo' real!!! But hey, life goes on, I put in some time working at CAU as a counselor, I really enjoy helping people so I feel like it was time well spent. Now I am back in the media game once again, with the company that always has its "eye" on you... Figure it out! They pay the bills so they have most of my day, but whenever I get a chance I focus on Team One Entertainment.
