I’m just a kid.
Or at least I lead myself to believe.
I’m twenty-one years old,
yet don’t act it,
and I most certainly don’t look it.
I don’t anticipate becoming older.
I’m also slightly apprehensive of my future.
I’m somewhat introverted.
I’m not necessarily shy,
just rather quiet,
and usually have nothing to say.
I’m very indecisive.
I take my time to ensure
I make the best choice.
Whether it be over a candy bar,
or over whom to kill.
…just kidding.
My indecisiveness results in
rarely having any regrets.
I don’t repent any mistake
I’ve made in the past.
Although I appreciate everything I have,
no matter how much I possess,
I always want more.
Subsequently…
Money is the solution to all my problems.
Recently, I’ve been living in solitude.
It’s definitely something I needed.
This has been my time of realization.
I've realized how short life actually is.
I’m living life the best I can.

I believe I’m doing a good job.

I have so many "fakes",
...it's unbelievable.
It is interesting though,
people want to be me.
Go ahead... you can be me.
I do not smoke, drink, nor do drugs.
I can give you plenty of reasons
why I don't smoke cigarettes,
but let’s just stick with:
They’re disgusting and pointless.
As for drinking, I have yet to acquire the taste.
I find the taste of beer and liquor to be unpleasant.
I also don’t find “being drunk†very amusing.
It definitely doesn’t look appealing.
Drugs have had such a negative impact on my life.
They’ve ruined the lives of people I love.
And even sent friends and relatives to their graves.
I grew up around them and witnessed
their malicious possibilities.
I consider myself fortunate
for learning a valuable lesson.
Don’t be misled into thinking that I dislike
those who have a different opinion than I.
Everyone is different, and I respect that.
Although, I truly admire those who share
the same views as I do on this topic.
You’re a fool for giving in to peer pressure.
Learn to say “no“, and let the opportunity pass.
And don’t give a shit about what others will think.
