I am here for Friends

About Me

I'm awesome. I'm strong.I like doing things. Everything. I'm willing to try almost anything once, as long as it isn't detrimental to my body or my spirit, which leaves room for a LOT. If I like it, I will probably do it again.I like ninjas, superheroes, and pirates.I love afternoon naps and afternoon showers!Thank you, Element 615, for my new nickname: Jenja!

My Interests

I like a lot of stuff, but not too much of one stuff all the time. I LOVE being outside, and I LOVE my dog and cats. I love things that sound nice, like music and poetry and rain on tin roofs and good conversation over tea and/or coffee. I like baseball, going to live music shows, and riding roller coasters. I like playing pool and air hockey and laser tag and go karts. My friends are my family, and they are of vital importance.Favorite quote of the day: "Being a nice person does not make up for the fact that you're stupid." -Jon (my best friend)

I'd like to meet:

Ghandi. My grandmother. Martin Luther. Joan of Arc. Anton Szandor LaVey. Malcom X. Robin Williams. Jon Stewart. Henry David Thoreau. Copernicus. My grandchildren. Dali. Picasso. Neil Armstrong. Thomas Jefferson. Jane Goodall. Dian Fossey. Mary Shelley. Albert Camus. Someone who can carry a conversation for more than five minutes and give me something pretty to look at in the meantime.

Music:

I dig music, except crappy stuff I can't relate to. Just ask, I'll know. If I don't know, you should tell me. Some of my favorites include Incubus, Muse, Eve 6, Unwritten Law, Pinback, The Beta Band, and She Wants Revenge.

Movies:

High Fidelity, Pi, Waiting, Serenity, Monty Python, Idiocracy, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Iron Man, Transformers, XXX, Dawn of the Dead, Shawn of the Dead, Rocky Horror Picture Show, and Zombie Strippers. I love zombie movies, but most horror movies scare me too much. Go figure.

Television:

Ninja Warrior, Clean House, CSI, That 70's Show, The Daily Show, Firefly, Iron Chef, Top Chef, Scrubs, and Chuck. Not that I ever watch T.V. long enough to see any of these shows regularly, though.

Books:

Catcher in the Rye, Frankenstein, The Stranger, The Virgin Suicides, Choke, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Franny and Zooey. There's a LOT more. I like good books. Yes, I read Harry Potter, and yes, I enjoyed it. By the way, Chuck Pallahniuk is a sick, sick man.

Heroes:

Superman, my Dad, and anyone willing to stand up for their own beliefs without destroying the beliefs of others.

Changing Forms

If I were a utensil, I'd want to be a spork. I'd want to be a dynamic, useful tool for the purpose of eating more than just soup, more than just pancakes. I'd want to be flexible and capable of change...
