I have a somewhat morbid fascination with history... Salem Witch Trials, Jack the Ripper, Haunted places. I like roller coasters. Also like curling up and reading a good book. Listening to music is good. My Livejournal . Watching movies. Started crocheting... made a few scarves, and working on a blanket. I know there's more, but my brain isn't working...
No one really... I found who I was looking for, without even looking for him. But, I guess if I really must answer this ... just friends.
I'd also like to catch up with old high school friends! KHS C/O '97!
Alternative, Rock, Hard Rock, punk, classic rock, heavy metal, most anything that sounds good.... I can tolerate most any music.
I'll watch just about anything. Seriously, here's my dvd collection . You know, they seem decent in the trailers, and you go watch it, and it's a piece of crap, but sometimes it turns out to be a really good movie with a crappy trailer. Just fun to escape reality sometimes.
What's TV? There isn't much on tv that sparks my interest, with the exception of the following shows: CSI: (original), Mythbusters, Most Haunted, Law & Order: SVU, Simpsons, Family Guy, random shows on the Discovery and Travel channels, Mind of Mencia, The Tudors
Don't get me started. I worked in a bookstore for almost 5 years. I've read just about everything (EXCEPT romance and westerns). I'd say I own about 600 books, if not more. Have I read all of them? Hell no, but a good portion of them. And, that doesn't include what I read while working for B&N (you know, we got to read books for free... like our own personal library).
My mom. June 25, 2004 she was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma. Over the course of a few days, we found out she had 8 tumors in her brain and various others throughout her body. Initially, doctors gave her 3-4 months (max) to live. It's 7 months later, and she's still going. Dealing with Chemo and it's side effects, gone through radiation, lost her beautiful red hair, and through all of it, she's still fighting. I admire her for her strength in such a time, and her strength has helped me deal with this and accept it. My mom has become more of an inspiration to me over the past few months than anyone ever will. She is not giving up the fight, and is determined to stick around long enough to see me get married, see a grandchild (if not more), make her 50th birthday (or later). She's set high goals for herself, and I hope she makes them. So, yeah, my hero is my mom.[All that being said, my mom passed away March 4, 2005 and I just don't feel like updating, rewording, and changing what all that says...]
