POPULAR MUSIC GROUP B5 TO PERFORM AT PONY EXPRESS DAYS!
"Eagle Mountain, UT, April 23 – Eagle Mountain City and Radio Disney AM910 announced today that B5 will be appearing in concert on Friday, June 1 at the SilverLake Amphitheater as part of the city’s Pony Express Days celebration...
Two Utah based acts are among the openers for B5 – Taja, a female trio of Bingham High School graduates from South Jordan, and Bre, an up-and-coming singer who is currently a senior at Bingham High School. Taja’s debut single “Don’t Even Try It” was featured on the soundtrack for the Disney TV Movie “Pixel Perfect,” which they also appeared in. They have also performed at the Disneyland House of Blues and The Roxy in Hollywood. Bre has performed locally since 2002 and is currently part of the national My Pop 8 Tour.
All profits from the concert will go in the budget for parks improvements for thecity. Eagle Mountain has a large youth population and the city has several new parks planned. The city’s youth council will be involved with promoting the show...
Tickets are $10 and are on sale starting today at any SmithsTix locations or at www.smithstix.com. Beginning Wednesday, April 25, tickets will also be available at Eagle Mountain City Hall, 1650 E. Stagecoach Run."

Hey all! So sorry the forum was down for the week! The label had to move the site to a bigger server because with the new single and album coming out they were afraid that ya'll would crash their server! They said the B5 forum is one of the biggest ever! Good Job! B5 has been working in atlanta with Choreographer RoRo (Omarions ice box and many others) for the new "Hydrolic" video that is shooting tues, may 15th! We are so excited that the machine is finally rollin! The actual single CD was sent on wed to all the radio stations nationwide! So now is the time to call all the stations and request like crazy! Some cities are already playing in heavy rotation like DC and Chicago so great job! yes, the label has moved the album release date again! It is now sept 18th! They want to put out 2 hot singles and videos before the album and want to promote during the scream tour. Hang in there with us! At least the wheels are rollin!!!

Blessings,Jmac 5/4/07;New B5 Info The album indeed has been pushed back to september 18th. For real this time, this should be the final date because B5 is officially on and rolling now! B5's "Hydrolic" video should release mid/late May and hopefully be getting some plays on BET and MTV. Then around June, they'll release their second single "In My Bedroom" and a video should be shot and released for that around late june/early july. Then July 25th, the boys will start the scream tour. All of this should give the boys all the attention and press they need for their album to do well, so that's why it was pushed back.
The Hydrolics video has been pushed back one more week to May 15th. The boy's choreographer for this is Roland (RoRo) Tabor, who choreographed Omarion's Icebox video! The video will feature Bow Wow and Diddy. They pushed it back to have more time with RoRo and to perfect everything. The video setting is HOTT!! you won't be dissappoined

On "Don't Talk" B5 cleverly navigates the vast emotional terrain of love and relationships, unleashing an array of stories – many of them taken from their own experiences. "Erica Kane" is just one example of the broad scope of experiences the Breeding brothers have shared since they first stepped into the public eye. While they hold onto much of who they were when fans first met them, it's clear that the Kansas-born, Florida-bred brothers are ready to push the envelope. "It's been two years since our first album," Says Dustin. "We were younger back then but with this album we had more say-so in terms of what we wanted to do. From this album you'll get to see more of the real side of B5." Carnell adds, "We're growing up and we know the fans are growing up with us.
"Hydraulic," featuring Bow Wow, is the first single from the album and a powerful glimpse into "Don't Talk." "Hydraulic" takes listeners straight to the club with a real low Dirty South beat. One of Kelly's favorites is "In My Bedroom" (produced by Michka). "It's about a dude who breaks up with his girl and he's sitting in his bedroom wishing he could get back with her," Kelly explains. Co-written by the boys and producer Blaze, "Incredible" extols the virtues of a beautiful woman. In that same vein are the tracks "She's Got it Like That" and the Underdogs collabo, "Things I'll Do For My Girl" -- all clear examples that B5 love to give the ladies their props.
But the set does take some twists and turns. "Teardrops," a song about unattainable love, seems to resonate most with Patrick. "'Teardrops' is basically saying that you have this girl that you like and she likes you too but she's with another dude that doesn't treat her right and you're always asking her why she's with him." The edgy Insomniax production "Rock Star" and provocative "Right to Left" (the Adonis/Bryan Michael Cox production) help to round out the set. But even as the brothers venture off into a more mature sound, they say they don't plan to stray so far off course that they lose sight of the ship that brought them to the shores of success. "Disney has been good to us over the past two years. They've given us a lot of work and they've allowed us to do a lot more to spread our wings, but we also have to show our growth," says Kelly.

Socca's IMPORTANT message
Marisa and I wanted to stress the importance of getting B5's album the day, if not the week that it drops. If we want B5 to be taken seriously with this album, they'll need to debut as the number 1 selling album the week their album releases. If B5 were to come in as #1 on the Billboard Charts, that's when people would REALLY start looking at them for awards, tours, and stuff like that. In order do that we can't allow people to bootleg the album or wait TOO long to get it. There was a topic posted on here the other day asking "When did you get B5's first album", and WAY TOO many people said they either got it months after it dropped, or still didn't get it at all, hence the reason why B5's first week sales for their debut album were not great! One of the good things about the album dropping in June is that just about all the fans will be out of school, which makes it easier to go out to the mall or cd store the day the album drops to buy it. Also, it gives you PLENTY of time to start saving up for the album incase you don't have the money yet to afford it. The first week the album drops is REALLY crucial for B5, and we need to make sure that this album does extremely well. The songs on the album are soo good, you'll think it's a totally different group with a totally different style. Things are really about to heat up with B5, and all the fans need to start getting involved again! B5 needs ALL of their dedicated fans to help them out and get to work! Once things pop off for B5, ALL the street teams need to become active again to spread the word about their new album. We're also asking EVERY fan who buys B5's album the week it comes out to purchase 3-5 or MORE copies of the album. (Extra albums can be returned to the store a week later.. don't ask, just do it!) Also... Spread The Word Message
Okay, so B5's single will be releasing soon! It'll be emailed to radio stations first, then once they do their photoshoot and get their main promo shots, it'll be mailed in CD format to the stations again. Since the radios will be getting the single before we get to hear it, I had an idea! We should call in the radio stations and see if they've heard anything lately about the B5 single. If we call in, they'll see how much we are anticipaiting the new single and the new album. If they see high demand for B5 before their single even drops, then they're gonna wanna play the song as soon as they get it. So call in the radio stations like "I heard B5's got a new single coming out really soon, and that It's bein sent to the radio stations by email. I was wondering if you've heard anything! I'm dying to hear their new material" or w/e! Call in like, once a week or once a day. And tell all your friends! Things are really about to jump off, so we gotta get the B5 momentum back! We gotta get people REALLY hyped about B5!
