About Me

I also DJ private parties as a hobby and most friends now call me "Smokey" since I'm a huge UT Vols Fan. I got started way back in 1982 working with Stan "The Bell Ringer" Bell at a skating rink called Rollies. Stan was my mentor & taught me so much. I was known as "Beaver" there. Ahhh, those were the days.

I have also worked with Memphis Mark Billingsley and "The Real Deal" Al Steele.
I got my on-air start at a little radio station in Ripley, TN, WTRB. It was a country station.
Today, I specialize in music from the 70's & 80's. I do have some more up-to-date songs also. Rock - Pop - R&B - some Country, including line dance music and of course some of that good ole belly-rubbing music.

Lately, I have been playing WoW (World of Warcraft) I'm doing pretty good. Leveling up pretty quick.
