BIO:
GHOST TONE is a new Memphis-based band consisting of veteran musicians that made its debut on the scene on August 2008. However, it did not just start from there. Tim Fowler and Chris Parson have been on the Memphis rock scene for a decade, and bring the knowledge, desire and dedication required to drive GHOST TONE to success. Fowler helped form Dust for Life and played on the debut album in 1998 recorded at Powerhouse studios in Memphis. During this time, he played with many top-notch national touring acts like King’s X, Drivin’ and Cryin’, Breaking Point, and Eric Gales, and even opened the show at the New Daisy for Saliva during their showcase that got Saliva signed for a major label. Now Fowler brings his knowledge from this experience to GHOST TONE with his fret-burning guitar riffs and melodic vocals along with Parson’s intense, hard-nose, cymbal destroying style of playing.
GHOST TONE’s self-titled debut EP was released on September 8th, 2008. The single “Broken†has been featured on several radio stations around West-Tennessee, and the response has been amazing thus far. On the week of April 6th 2009, Memphis rock radio station 93x named GHOST TONE “local band of the weekâ€.
After a couple of brief personnel changes since its creation in 2007, Kenny Krunk (formerly of Decadence Point) has joined the band. Krunk brings much needed enthusiasm and aspiration that only fueled the rest of GHOST TONE to step up and push themselves even harder. The time is now, so get ready for high energy music and haunting lyrics that reach out like a ghostly hand to find and touch your soul.------------------------------------------------------
