In truth, it is not how I make a living. That part, in the wrestling business, is very difficult. There was two years that I was able to pretty much just wrestle and I will tell you that that is the greatest freedom you can ever imagine...To get paid to do what you love. But still, I persue this craziness with an unwavering passion...despite what some may say..the negativity..the "Ohh, you've done this long enough"..."when are you gonna grow up and move on"... But it's just how I have chosen to live my life. I guess this is foreign to some people...following your dreams and making them come true...I've never concerned myself with making boatloads of money. I have enough to survive. Believe me, if I wanted to make loads of money, I WOULD!! I just look very simply at life, kind of like this picture below...I will always just do what I want and never settle for being a worker bee who just produces and consumes, produces and consumes... like good little sheeple. I find the people who just work, work, work a job to be miserable with their lives, because they get stuck in the system, too busy to do anything but tread water. Maybe that, in part, is why we have an enormous drug problem in this country. Is it true? I dunno, but it kinda makes a little sense when you think about it doesn't it???In the meantime, keep your mind open and draw your own careful conclusions to the mess that surrounds us. Ever read the bible? I'm not a religious man, but some of those those stories in the book of Revelations seem like they could soon become reality...Could this stuff be for real, or just a load of horseshit that wacky people dream up?? I have no earthly idea, but I think the worst thing you could do is to laugh it off and dismiss it as nonsense. Because if indeed this shit IS going down, your behaving EXACTLY how they would want you to..!We all have one minuscule piece of time...a blink of an eye that's hardly a blip on the map of time, in which we are awake to breathe, look and listen, and to be aware of everything around us in this vast universe. After that second passes, we fall back asleep for the rest of eternity. Life is passing us all by...We're all just visiting this beautiful planet for a short while...ENJOY YOURSELF TODAY!Father Time waits for no one. I will not be 60 years old looking back and saying "I wish I would have just done that." Instead, I am happy to say "below is a great picture from my last Canadian Tour in December of 2004. It was taken on a road going northeast from Chetwynd, BC to Fort St. John, BC..It was so incredibly beautiful that we had to pull the truck over and take a break to enjoy the beauty of it all...It was also about -26 celcius, which, for those who have not experienced it, translates to "colder than a motherfucker."
If can tell, the river behind me, is steaming! It took me a few minutes to figure out why this was...But if you figure that the water temperature is somewhere above 32F it's like a hot tub when compared to the air temperature... Other than wrestling and the constant training and dieting that goes with it, I live a very simple life. I like it that way. I find when you live a simple life, you can really appreciate the smallest of things that most people take for granted. I mean, really...if you think life is bad, just be thankful (like my friend Davey says) you weren't born stuck together!!!
Eventually I will finish my college degree...I am in no hurry..In fact at the rate I am going, I may set a new record for oldest college graduate, lol...But that is okay. I'll get that degree when I'm good and ready, and not one minute sooner. It's just how I roll, baby!!!
