About Me

I played many sports up through high school, joined the Navy and was on a nuclear submarine. During my last patrol we started flooding under the Artic Circle, see blog for details. This is one reason why I do not take anything too serious. After that who would want to, right? I went to college for three years before getting a job as a Texas State Arson Investigator. This lasted for over a decade. I had the pleasure and honor of working with several Texas Rangers. Worked as a Death Investigator here in Austin with the Medical Examiner's Office for too long. I take things a lot easier now. I do not like stress and avoid it at all cost. I like going anywhere, anytime I want.I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.1

My Interests

I like: playing pool, scuba diving, swimming, canoeing, camping, tossing the ball around at the lake, driving around the countryside and taking pictures. I like to go to the Austin Nature Center and Mayfield Park where I pick up trash, pick Nardeena berries and pull up these plants as requested by Rene (man in charge of all the parks around Austin). Music:

I like the music from the seventies period as well as country.Me and KatNature boy

Movies:

I like a mixture of movies from continous action to comedy. Maverick with Mel Gibson was great. The Man with Two Brains with Steve Martin. 50 first dates. Last of the Dog Soldiers. Romantic movies with the right person will always be at the top. Any movie where the ending is not what you thought it was going to be is refreshing. I don't like movies that are too predictible.

Television:

I do like to watch CSI and other investigative shows. Unfortunately, I usually see how many mistakes they make during their crime scene investigations. I guess I was an Investigator for too long.

Books:

The most recent books I have read are the set of books by Carlos Castaneda.

Heroes:

All the real heroes are average people who are placed in unusual situations and decide to place the life or lives of others above his/her own safety. I would rather try my best than nothing at all.
