About Me

Layout Provided By FreeCodeSource.com - Hey All! Well I'm a Wilfrid Laurier student, studing English and History, though I enjoy any stimulating conversation regarding philosophy or politics aswell. I love spending any spare moment with family and friends, indulging in the regular party or get together. I enjoy going out to see various friend's bands, a night out with the girls, or partying till all hours of the morning with the joe's. I have a passion for writing, music and travel, my greatest aspiration for the moment. I'm up for anything, anywhere and tend to make living life fully the priority of my 20-something years.

My Interests

I love to read and write (nerd? forget about it!). Expressively or academically, I explore a multitude of music and literary genres. And I come from a proud Scottish background, so a casual drink with friends is implied. When I can, my greatest pleasure is getting the hell out of this town for awhile for any spontaneous reason.

I'd like to meet:

I love meeting new people and sharing conversation with a variety of personalities.

Music:

I enjoy a variety of artists, bands and classic musical influences, regardless of generation. I particularly like Against Me!, Less Than Jake, Bad Religion, lately the Smiths and Social Distortion, while trying to see any Mad Caddies show that I can. I also love anything from Joni to Marvin to Blonde. 80's music anyone?

Movies:

Anywhere from drama to comedy, I enjoy the odd movie here and there. I'm particularly interested in unique, stimulating films that challenge the viewer, with obvious cinematography genius. Don't get me wrong though; a few chick flicks and mindless, but hilarious blockbusters never hurt anyone. To list? Pulp Fiction, Momento, Forrest Gump, or anything concerning WW2 adaptations.

Television:

Loved it! When I had time for it!

Books:

Lovely Bones, A Clockwork Orange, The Awakening, 1984, Oryx and Crake and any poetry by Margaret Atwood, to name a few.

Heroes:

My mom. If you knew her, enough said.
