About Me

Many consider me a stoic. I view things logically and leave emotions behind. I hardly ever cry and I hate shopping, shoes, purses, and make-up. I prefer harmony over conflict, happiness over depression, and tend not to associate with those that express morose or depondent attitudes. I live in the now but still plan for tomorrow(backpacks and survival gear always ready)I love the smell of early morning-dew on the grass or the mist in the air, wood being refinished, and freshly brewed coffee. Waves on the beach, rain splashing down, or crickets in the meadow always lull me to sleep. Midnight sounds when sleeping in the woods or logs crackling in a fire put me in a reminiscing mood(don't like the sounds of trees crashing down the mountain or the growl of my dog during our hiking trips)Nothing is better to listen to though than the sound of my husband's voice. I like small gatherings rather than large crowds and would prefer to spend time with others hiking, playing frisbee, listening to music, or breaking out a game (spades, chess, escoba).
