About Me

I play keyboards for the Damon Castillo Band - I love music and I've been playing since age 6. I've been lucky enough to play with some great players over the years. With the Damon Castillo Band, I've shared the stage with the likes of Chicago, Chris Isaak, Tower of Power, John Scofield, Gin Blossoms and many others.
I've focused lately on the Hammond B3 as well as other vintage instrument. Currently, I've been doing recording at our band's studio, Laurel Lane. I have a collection of Fender Rhodes, Hohner Clavinet, Wurlitzer 200A, Yamaha CP-70B, Hammond B3 w/Leslie 122, and many more keyboards.
Most recently, I've been working with Jon Anderson of YES and appeared on the Ellen Degeneres show with the band Coby Brown.

Too much to list all, my iPod is now full. Funk, Rock are my favorites, but I also enjoy Jazz and R&B. Current picks are Beck, Prince, Jamie Cullum, Marc Broussard, David Garza, Dominic Castillo, Van Hunt, John Mayer, Maroon 5, Tom Petty, and G. Love & Special Sauce.

I'm not very well read. I've read some of David Sedaris' stuff... too funny.Read Fast Food Nation - gotta love flavor re-injected fries and shit patties. Well I still eat the stuff...now I realize I gotta read some more stuff. more to come...
