I am here for Friends

About Me

The year I decided to quit eating meat my parents bought a steakhouse. That was twenty years ago. I still don't eat red meat, and I'm still working at the steakhouse. That pretty much sums up how my life has worked up till this point-- When I'm not working off my sentence of indentured servitude at the ole family grindstone, I'm an artist. I paint primarily for children. Murals, canvases, furniture, etc. I like the fact that my art makes people smile, and I long for the day when I can devote myself to it full time.

My Interests

I like to paint, and I love art in any form. My favorites are outsider artists like Howard Finster and Margaret Kilgallen. Some of my other current favorites include Liz McGrath, Mark Ryden, Eric White, The Clayton Brothers, and Camille Rose Garcia. I love Basenjies and couldn't imagine life without my handsome Basenji boy St.John or his two cat brothers Leopold and Atticus. I adore plants and I work in my garden whenever I have the time.I'm also kind of obsessed with letterboxing at the moment. I just can't seem to get enough. Check it out at Atlasquest.com.
