Chillicothe Ohio's first homegrown Paranormal research group.

Our base of operations is a variety shop in Chillicothe called ODYSSEYS at 88 W. Water Street. They are open Noon to 6 TUES-SAT and carry a selection of MTG cards, RPG gaming supplies, Tarot Cards, Metaphysical Books and items, swords, and martial art supplies 740-779-1798

With over twenty years of first hand experience; "S.C.O.P.S." stands alone as an investigative research organization that not only seeks the truth behind the mystery, but also investigates events to the point of exhaustion. The team consists of seven key members who's personal experience and knowledge enables them to collaborate collectively on separate occasions which simplifies the countless hours of research required to bring light to the situation. Much of our research has been conducted independently; however most recently we have decided to collaborate and post our findings as a group. This is what breathed life into the South Central Ohio Paranormal Society.2006 was a very busy year for us. We will be on the road this season during our warm up to 2007 and results we shall find. We will be documenting on digital imagery, and on video. We will post our findings.So far we have thoroughly investigated Crosskeys Tavern and Elizabeth's Grave in Chillicothe, Ohio, the Ghostown of Shantyville in Richmondale, Ohio, the Moonville Tunnel in Nelsonville, Ohio, Resurrection Cemetery in Waverly, Ohio, the Memorial Cemetery in Sarasota Florida, the Ghostwalk in Beaufort North Carolina which led us through a 300 year old cemetery and Blackbeard the Pirate's house), and most recently we investigated the Guest House Bed and Breakfast; a 170 year old mansion in Chillicothe Ohio, as well as several other places.Stay tuned for frequent updates, new images, video evidence, EPV encounters, person to person interviews and new hot spots. 2008 here we come!Seeking information?
