My Interests

Traveling, Corvettes, music, movies, my godson August, and my little hellions I like to call cats

I'd like to meet:

More correctly stated - Who did I meet...

Music:

I choose not to list a bunch of band names here. I choose music according to my mood. Generally, I prefer something danceable with a strong beat. I tend to stay away from any sort of hip-hop or songs that use a language that isn't formally recognized by NATO.

Movies:

I work in a cubicle universe, so Office Space is required.
I love the way Casablanca has changed as I grow older and gain more life experience, it is a classic in the true sense. And because I will always be a child at heart, I still cherish The Wizard of Oz.

Television:

I have to record my favorites, because between work and school, I don't get too much leisure lay on the couch time. But when I get the opportunity to watch, I am addicted to Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy. I love James Spader and William Shatner in Boston Legal.

Books:

It seems as though I haven't had any time to read a book for entertainment in a while. I have been trying to work my way through some classic literature, but Plum Sykes is always good for some light reading.

Heroes:

As I've grown up, I come to realize that my heroes are my parents. They aren't perfect people, but they have managed to make it through some not-so-fabulous circumstances and give me a balanced view on life. Plus, they tolerate my sarcasm and attitude knowing that I only do that to those I love the most!

My Blog

A strange occurance

Update Number One

So as I was cleaning out my car yesterday, I did a little poking around the garage.  Indeed there was in fact a silver BMW across the way.  It was a 525i, not the current body style but the ...

The waving of the finger

When did everyone in the DC metro area become my mother?  Did she send out a memo which I am not aware?  It seems as of late the favorite finger to wave in traffic is not the middle, but the...
