About Me

A Man described by 1xtras Ras Kwame as UK Music Royalty Singa Blinga has been around the scene longer than most of his peers, but you may not know the name Why ? ... Because throughout his career Singa Blinga has played the background role on many different recordings and stage shows and up until recent years went by the name Little T

As Little T, Singa Blinga has had numerous releases dating back to his first recording with producer Kieth Wint on Macka Bs label in 1985 called Why you do that to me. From there solo releases came in the UK & Jamaica including; Young, Free & single on the Sir George record label in 1992 and What a Thing For You To Say in 1996 which was produced by Rodney Ranks & Redeye from the Unity sound system and released via Tex Johnson on Massive Records in Jamaica .

Aside from his solo projects some of his most known work came when working alongside Rebel MC providing the soulful reggae vocals on both his Black Meaning Good & Word Sound & Power albums. These early 90s recordings lead to Little T (now known as Singa Blinga ) being involved in some of the most well known and well renowned releases in the early days of the Jungle movement.

Live, Singa Blinga has been mentored well, and was brought into the sound system culture by his father and original inspiration; DJ Craigie . From early introductions in the 80s on the likes of Unity, Fine Style, Exodus, Coxsone & Gemmi Magjic he went on to tour Europe with Rebel MC but has also put in notable P.A. performances alongside reggae greats such as his lyrical and vocal style inspirer the Crowned Prince; Dennis Brown .

In 1997 having taken a break away from music Little T found his path crossed with that of the Mud Familys Skinnyman . After several years deliberating whether or not to re-involve himself with the music scene, Little T was finally persuaded in 2004 to start touring with Skinnyman . With this new birth of musical life came the new name; Singa Blinga and as his confidence grew it was time to get back to the studio.

It wont be long until the 5 track EP Singa Blinga Dubs is available, which will feature new versions of some classic reggae cuts alongside some incredible Singa Blinga tracks over current riddims
