Writing is my passion, although being published isn't a goal. Other ways I occupy my time in a podunk town is scrapbooking, reading, watching movies and playing on this machine. And if all else fails, there's always the highway leading out of town.
Old friends, interesting people.

Rock on Chong!
First on the list is Pink Floyd and will probably always be Pink Floyd. Others fall into place in no particular order; Lynyrd Skynyrd, Kid Rock, Green Day, Matchbox Twenty, even Rob by himself is pretty good. Sublime, Fort Minor, Shinedown won me with their cover of "Simple Man", 3 Doors Down, Eminem, Faith Hill (Keep the McGraws to yourself please!), Everclear, Tom Petty, Blue October (Love these guys!!). Beatles, Chico DeBarge, Stone Sour, Foo Fighters, Keith Urban, The Killers, Jet, Avril Lavigne, Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, Lonestar, Seether. Korn, although I didn't much care for their cover of Pink Floyd's "Another Brick in the Wall". Nickelback, Justin Timberlake, Panic! At the Disco, Queen, Alabama, Counting Crows and the Black Crowes. Limp Bizkit, Kelly Clarkson, 2Pac, Garth Brooks, Aerosmith, DMX, Martina McBride. I know I've left some out, it would be a miracle if I didn't.
Since we watch a lot of movies, I've got some new recommendations. . .The Hitcher was great and so was Freedom Writers. Blood Diamond is hard to watch when you know it's a true story and it takes a minute to get use to the accent. I've seen just about every cartoon, but my favorite has to be Over The Hedge, but I can't wait to see Meet The Robinsons! Children of Men is a scary concept, but a damn good movie and I don't recommend First Born.
Some classic favs of mine; Godfather, Bronx Tale, Thicker Than Blood, Butterfly Effect, Nightmare Before Christmas and Blow.
I only have local channels, so I'm missing out on my favorite shows! :( This is the first year I've missed The Shield in the entire time since its debut. Also, that hottie, Ami, on Miami Ink. All my comedy central; Carlos Mencia, South Park, Chapelle Show (although I do have the dvds). But I still get Gilmore Girls and maybe I'll buy The Shield on DVD.
Since there's not much to do in Laramie, I have caught up on some reading. Stephen King is still a favorite of mine, but I've found a new appreciation for others; Dean Koontz, Mario Puzo, James Patterson and a whole lot more.
