About Me

My Life As The Assistant to the Regional Manager Of South Fork ExplorationIn the morning, when the sun peeks through my window on Highland Park Drive, usually around 6:30AM, I awake to the genteel sounds of Bob and Tom. When the alarm clock (which is actually a stereo system, or "Hi-Fi" for the people still living in the Carter administration era) goes off in the morning, I know that I only have 45 minutes left to enjoy comfortable bed. At 7:15 I get up and go work out, it might be the weight lifting regiment or a short hike with the hounds. When I get home, I have around 75 minutes to eat breakfast, do dishes, iron a shirt, take a shower, and prep the hair for the day. I won't lie to you, I do spend some time on the hair. Hell, the only thing I have goin for me is a little bit of charm and unbelievably fabulous hair. Other than that...nothing. When I get to the office, the Regional Manager of South Fork makes me read through all emails, read the Billings Gazette (still a socialist rag), and sometimes respond to the myspaces account. By that time it's lunch, where I meet with a few friends or take a working lunch from Rockets. If Rockets it is, I am working on behalf of South Fork for the afternoon's Yahoo Gin challenge or Sudoku challenge. Either way, it's exhausting. After lunch I will field a few calls concerning telecommunication infrastructure throughout Montana or energy development in the Williston Basin. Then I try to finish the Sudoku challenge without cheating. By that time I'm bushed. The Regional Manager likes to go home around 4, and as Assistant to the Regional Manager of South Fork, I go home shortly thereafter. Once I get home I field more calls, yes I take my work home with me, and inevitably have to attend an evening meeting with clients, investors, well wishers, friends or others. These people, unfortunately, like to have a drink during the meetings. That means I won't get home until 9 or 10 and I always drink my dinner. It's a tough life being the Assistant to the Regional Manager of South Fork Exploration. If it weren't for my talent, social skills, mastry of the martial arts, and fabulous hair, I don't know if I could get through the average day. I'm just glad that after proving myself day after day to the Regional Manager; I have some semblance of job security..

My Interests

While driving, I like it when I stop at a crosswalk to let someone cross the street and they show a little hustle. If they wave? Oh man, if they wave on top of that I know it's gonna be a great day.

I'd like to meet:

I can tell you who I'd like to unmeet. Eric Utsey. In fact, I know a lot of women who call him "Un-meat." To be truthful, for once, I can't think of anyone I'd really like to meet. Usually, if I want to meet someone, I'll walk up and introduce myself.

Music:

Boxcar Willie, Freedom Rock, the music of Sweatin To The Oldies Volumes 1,2, and 4, and anything by Zamphir Master of the Pan Flute

Movies:

Smokey and the Bandit. Why you ask? Because I'm eastbound and down, rollin on and truckin, doin things that they say can't be done. Furthermore, the boys are thirsty in Atlanta and there's beer in Texarkana.

Television:

Entourage, The Office, Scrubs, Deadliest Catch, Sopranskis, Curb Your Enthusiasm, How I Met Yo Mudda, 2.5 Men, Family Guy (giggity), King Of The Hill

Books:

Atlas Shrugged and whatever i'm reading at the moment.

Heroes:

I don't know about you, but my heroes have always been cowboys.
