About Me

You know that guy? Well, guess what: he has three friends now, they're in a band and they call themselves The Pathways.Ever since yesterday, lovers of life have been in luck. Enter The Pathways. The Pathways write pop songs with reference to people. Thus, life goes on.In February of 2005, The Pathways released their first 7-inch, "Productivity," on Recommended If You Like Records, followed by a full-length album called "Boat of Confidence." Now it's 2007 and here comes another album, "Gray Blaze," on Athens, GA's own Asaurus Records. Along the way there have been clarinets and saxes, sheep giving birth to baby sheep, and something called "electronics." And just when you think you know more or less what you think to yourself, you think "Oh ... oh dear." Pop music can leave you with lingering questions. And yet, The Pathways don't need to question themselves. Their music is all over the map and yet still safely at home. Even a downright mess in the end makes a certain deniable sense.
