I am the drummer of a band called Broad Tosser and we rock.

I love writing music with other musicians and collaborating on creative projects.
I love video games and other computer games.. especially fantasy roleplay like GemStone IV. You should play!
And I recently addictified myself to World of Warcraft. It's not all 13-year-olds.... just mostly.
We also rock the good ol' SNES sometimes. I'll kick your ass at NBA Jam.
I decided to take a break from film school to concentrate on my... life. As a result of switching majors about three times since I started college five years ago, I have the credits to graduate, but I'm not satisfied with my knowledge or direction. It's been a struggle to get an editing reel together and I'm hoping that with the time off from school I will be able to focus more on my own creative projects and build a much richer portfolio, whether that ends up being filmic or musical in nature. So far things are going well. I've been taping and editing a few minor projects for friends.
Music has really always been my passion, but for some reason I've never really taken myself seriously as a musician until now. I'm not professionally trained but I've been gigging since the first time I picked up a pair of sticks nine years ago. I'm hoping that if I just play out as much as I can it will take me somewhere someday. It's my lifelong dream to play drums for a touring band in some good-sized venues. I really hope I can make that happen.
On another note...
I am also a firm proponent of a proposal in the House of Representatives called Fair Tax. It is in essence an abolition of all income, estate, gift, and death taxes and the replacement of that with a flat consumption tax for any goods or services purchased at the retail level only. Imagine keeping that extra 20-25% of your paycheck the government steals from you on a weekly basis! The spending power it would put back in the hands of the American people would give a much needed jumpstart to our economy, not to mention bring more jobs back home since the consumption tax does not apply to business expenses! I could get into more detail, but this is a profile, not a platform. If you're curious to learn more, check out a great book called The Fair Tax Book.
It can answer any questions and clear up any misunderstandings about what the Fair Tax really is.... the best revolution in independence, economics, privacy, national security, and equality and able to fund our future and erase our deficit.... and money left over to finance social security, and medical insurance for every citizen!
