What is natural cannot be denied. Amanda Dunn has the undeniable natural talent to sing. What started at the innocent age of 5 years old, is now quickly becoming obvious to all who are treated to Amanda’s continuous natural talents, including to herself.Amanda was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, absorbing the soul from the soul of the south. Though remaining unique and true to her own beliefs, Amanda was influenced by such industry greats as Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, and Alicia Keys. Amanda is a born performer, always enjoying the spot light throughout her youth through such activities as dance, gymnastic, and cheerleading. She began showcasing her vocal talents at church functions, weddings, leading to local and national talent conventions.Amanda was selected amongst the top 12 finalist in a Nationwide Grammy Competition for Justin Timberlake's "My Grammy Moment", to perform at the ceremony itself in 2007, thru this selection Amanda was recognized on CBS’s Morning News, Entertainment Tonight, and amongst many other broadcasts and interviewed with all major morning radio shows throughout the Southeast region. Amanda has been selected to sing the National Anthem for the Charlotte Bobcats NBA men’s team, as well as the WNBA’s Sting at the Bobcat Arena; Charlotte, NC. Amanda has also performed at Charlotte’s Neighborhood Theatre along side The SuperNova Camp (Overflow, F.Dux, & Marioso) and in the city streets of Charlotte for Alley Hoops Jam, whos bill also included Hip-Hop icon Doug E Fresh. Amanda’s credentials also include 1st place prize for her duet with recording artist De Marco at the New York International Model and Talent Association Convention in the summer of 1999, as well as expanding her talents in the entertainment industry as a part of a Pepsi-Cola television commercial, and a model for Pantene Promotions.
