To be honest, there's not much to say, cause musicians like to express themselves through music, not written words...But here we go, for once and for all :) ex est is an experimental trio. Our music can be described as a mix between Industrial, electro and rock...Other names, styles being recognized in our music is kindly welcome to contact and correct us :)This band has been started in 2002 as an experiment existing out of 5 musicians. Due to several circumstanses, this quintet has been changed into a trio.In 2005, the original guitarist left ex est. Founding members Jesse Karthaus (synths/programming and drumpads) and Sanne De Jong (vocals) started a search for a new guitarplayer. They found one in the person of Sebastiaan Schoemaker, who also plays the Theremin.The band recorded their first demo in this new formation in November 2005. This demo can be found on this myspace profile.And suddenly somewhere in 2007, we found ourselves a bassplayer, with the name of Mendelt Siebenga. Togheter with him, we're creating a fresh and new sound, with dark layers. A complete, new demo will follow in 2007
