About Me

I use humor as a defense mechanism. How bout that?BRAZIL '07

My Interests

Art, freedom, being a goofball, singing at the top of my lungs, traveling, photography, music, decorating on a small budget, dancing (incorporating my signature move into every song), crafting, sunny days, enjoying God's creation on a mountain or a beach or in the middle of a city street (that one would be man made..wouldn't it?), picnics, worshipping, colors, cuddling, being warm, intelligent conversations, stupid/funny conversations, silence, spending time with people, being alone, putting a baby to sleep, the smell in the mountains of PR, alcapurrias mmmm, the feeling of my stomach in my throat (you know, when you're skydiving or on a scarey rollercoaster) love it! Here are some more pictures from my trip to Thailand and Cambodia.

I'd like to meet:

Real people. More iron to be sharpened by.

Music:

Anything Barry Manilow. :) Oh where do I begin?! Give me music....just not the "relaxing" Enya kind. I hear too much of that at work.

Movies:

Drama, comedies, dramadies, documentaries, indie, foreign, suspense/thriller, action/adventure, musicals, animation, sci-fi. Love em. Thank you, Netflix.

Television:

Don't watch much. I get ONE channel.

Books:

Yes please...but on mp3. That way I can do 5 billion other things at the same time.

Heroes:

Jesus, Mother Teresa, St. Francis of Assisi. People who can truly put themselves aside for the benefit of others, and not themselves, and whose words and actions are consistent with one another.
