People, photography, film, music, art, food, and travel would be the biggees.
If I were to name names the list would be too long... but in general anyone who's interesting, has some sense of vision, unique ideas or thoughts, marches to a different drummer and is an individual or has some idea of their purpose on this planet. I like people who can appreciate the beauty and art in everyday life and in ordinary things. I'd also like to meet my birth mother... there are so many questions I have, and no animosity whatsoever. I sincerely thank her for allowing me to be raised with the opportunities I've had... even when I've managed to screw them all up.
My taste in music is eclectic... almost anything and everything from classical to popular to alternative to metal to jazz and almost everything in between. For what it's worth... I love shooting bands... both performances and photos for covers, liners, promotion, etc. (I'm reasonable, too! Hint! Hint!)
Pulp Fiction, Get Shorty, Sling Blade, Pushing Tin, Goodfellas, Things To Do In Denver When You're Dead, Flield of Dreams, Slapshot, Green Mile, Shawshank Redemption, Resevoir Dogs, Rounders, too many more to mention. Also Extreme videos... check out some of the films by Warren Miller or Pat Solomon... both pioneers in their respective disciplines. Good stuff!!
"It is difficult to produce a television documentary that is both incisive and probing when every twelve minutes one is interrupted by twelve dancing rabbits singing about toilet paper." ~Rod Serling Need I say much more? CNN, Frontline, a few HBO productions, things friends are in. Does anything I film count?? lol...
I wish I had more time to read for pleasure. When I do, I prefer non-fiction over fiction. Most of what I read generally deals with my work in some manner... mostly periodicals.
Only a few, but first and foremost my late father. Why is it that too often we don't learn things about someone until after they're gone?
