So this is my lazy updated about me. The old one seems out of date, there's no more boring days at work, i haven't watched the style network in over a year and i can't even remember what finola looks like. But, i feel it's a pretty good sum up for the most part so i'm leaving it up. So, anyway here you go:
first thing i can think about is that i don't like sushi as much as i used to. Other than that...I still randomly shoplift for the fun of it, panty lines definately turn me on as does lace for some reason. I still mispell a lot. I no longer have cable watch very little tv and can actually feel my brain cells healing. I can drink most people under the table. Burritos are the prefect food. I'm an island boy at heart so puerto rico is my casa but new york will always be home. Love San Francisco, candles, incense, pot and music which is pretty much san francisco. i don't have average days but in an average week you're sure to find me doing one of these things in no particular order: doing something stupid on my bike, drunk, in a yoga studio, lately maybe surfing and praying at the same time a shark doesn't mistake me for a seal, in walgreens getting cash back, checking my horoscope, listening to NPR podcast, drinking at some random dive bar, getting or thinking about getting a massage, taking a shower again,making coffee, smoking again, not answering my phone, still up at 3am during the week, and depending how sneaky you are a few other things. The latest quote in my head came from a quite older lady at a bar during the haight street fair, she was sitting at the bar and i was waiting to order from the bartender, after a minute she very randomly asked me if i liked to get spanked, i just smiled at her and said nothing and she replied "I can see it in your eyes -burp-, ummmmm hmmmmmm, you see you like them crazy ones, but me, i'm just dumb so don't get too cozy"
well first off it took a really boring day at work and a few months for me to decide to put something up "about me". I think it's pretty silly to try to sum myself up, although maybe others would have no problem doing it. I recently did a email survey thing where friends sum you up in one word so here's the replies I got: magnanimous, eclectic, new yorker, carnal, cultured, neurotic, artsy, friend. Other than that the demo's go like this, born in puerto rico, raised in the bronx, did the later half of my teens in the suburbs of Kansas City, moved out to San Francisco for college and love it here. I listen to NPR and other public radio daily while at work, I haven't read a book in years but Bomb the System, Marquis de Sade and Bodega Dreams are books I loved, oh and Memoirs of a Giesha. I like to go to low budget plays, poetry readings, interpretive dance and just about any preforming art show. Sometimes the more horrible the production the more I like it. Growing up in the bronx the first art I was exposed to was graffiti and it's still my favorite, although I rarely catch tags myself these days. I prefer to go to a bar get drunk and talk shit with friends new and old rather than go to a club, but I do get down on the dance floor when I feel in the mood. I eat burrito's a lot, smoke about a pack a day, happy hour is part of every work day and workout regularly in hopes to balance it all out. I still randomly shoplift things for the fun of it, I hate driving, probrably one of the few straight guys that regularly watches the style network(I'm in love with Finola), i get cranky when i don't eat, i love girls with dark hair, I mispell words a lot, panty lines turn me on, I've never tried egg nog, ignorant people bother me. My friend recently said this to me, not sure i fully agree but, "You know what it is about you, you know just enough about a lot of shit, everytime you meet someone you sit there and talk to them for hours about some shit, it's that and that fucking accent, that's just how you get down and that's why i don't want you talking" -thanks Edgar
