ATOMBENDER (on tour!)

Touring the midwest all next week!

About Me

Atombender is a group of seven close friends from the Ames, Iowa area who came together as a band because of their love of music.
The band has a hard-hitting punk/ska style but also gets the crowd dancing with melodies coming from the horns and moog. The members put as much energy and joy as they possibly can into playing their music and hope to evoke those same feelings in the crowd.
Atombender is influenced by a huge assortment of bands, anywhere from Five Iron Frenzy to Motion City Soundtrack to Comeback Kid. They have drawn comparisons to notable bands in the genre, such as Bomb the Music Industry!, the Hippos, and Less Than Jake.
Atombender has had the privilege of playing across the state, sharing the stage with bands like Andy Zipf (Mono Vs. Stereo Records), Children 18:3 (Tooth and Nail Records), The Envy Corps (Vertigo Records), Flatfoot 56 (Flicker Records), Last Tuesday (Mono Vs. Stereo Records), The Poison Control Center (Afternoon Records), Run Kid Run (Tooth and Nail Records), Twelve Gauge Valentine (Solid State Records), The Wedding (Brave New World Records). They are constantly writing new songs, working to improve, and doing what they love best: playing live shows.
