DUP (Danish Independent Record Labels) is the industry association representing Danish independent record companies. DUP was formed on 9th September 2002.
DUP’s priorities include promoting the best possible conditions for its members by networking, knowledge transfer and commercial development. DUP provides a single point of contact and communications with the world of politics, and it co-ordinates with other cultural bodies, music organisations and partners.
DUP strives to improve conditions for its members as well as relationships between them, so that membership is both rewarding and meaningful. As members of IMPALA (The European Association of Independent Music Companies), we work for greater diversity in the European music market. The DUP New Year magazine, BOOM BOOM, is designed to raise the national and international profiles of association members.
