(Punktastic.com)Pendleton, a Melodic Skate Punk band with a Technical Edge from Manchester UK was formed in 2003 to make skate punk music.From the outset their mission was clear: to breathe some life back into the stagnant punk scene that surrounded them. Tired of the shallow ‘Fashion-Core’ culture that had arisen in Manchester, the boys wanted to rediscover the true spirit of punk music, and bring the unity and passion that defined it back into the fray.2006 really saw the band start to make an impact on the UK and international music scenes. After seeing a Pendleton show in Manchester in summer 2006, Rocksound magazine said, “Marrying the force of Rise Against with the playfulness of NOFX but bringing a large streak of originality as well, Pendleton are undeniably a hot prospect. Tearing through a strong set with mach speed and razor precision, songs like Falling Apart to Double Time sound great live... A great show from an exciting new band."
