My life started at the age of 3. It was then that my mother shot and killed my father, and at that moment, whatever path I was traveling along became drastically altered. I've never questioned what happened and I've never judged either of them...I simply take it as something that had to happen in order for me to become the man that I am today. I feel that music was placed inside my soul as a way for me to escape, but at the same time, expresss the pain and struggles that I've encountered along this journey. So much of todays music lacks emotion and depth...and quality, and I honestly feel that I've been called to inject a little reality back into the game. O.K....we get it: you're watch is very nice and those rims are big and shiney, but how many songs do we need dedicated to material items that only a small percentage of people can actually afford. Don't get me wrong..I like a good number of those songs and I like nice things myself, but I believe that we, as a genre, have so much more to offer the public. I'm on a mission to stop this industry from continually trying to feed us bullshit...all because they think that bullshit is all we'll understand.
