So I guess this is the part where I tell you my life story. I grew up in a small Texas town and moved to Charlotte, NC in 1996. I joined the U.S. Air Force in 2000, and have been all over the world since then. I started out with doing a few stints around the country: Texas, Mississippi, Idaho, and Maryland. In 2002 I lived in Turkey for two years, heading down to Iraq to help set up the Radio and TV station in Baghdad for a few months in 2003. Looking back at that experience, I learned a lot from my deployed co-workers- and even though I had been in the military for almost 4 years, I wouldn't say I was "grown-up" until afterwards. Iraq may have not have been the safest place for a life changing experience, but I'm glad it happened. From Feb 2004- June 2006 I lived in Southern California, as a sportscaster. I had the chance to interview Hall of Famer Tommy Lasorda, and many MLB (Boston Red Sox, Houston Astros, Baltimore Orioles, LA Dodgers, and the LA Angels of Anaheim) and NFL (Baltimore Ravens, Carolina Panthers, Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins) players. Right now I'm living in South Korea. I'll be here until June of 2007. After that I'll be moving to Virginia, around the VA Beach area. I was married for nearly 5 years, but Christy and I are divorcing and going our separate ways. I don't really want to discuss the details of the divorce or how often my daughter will be with me throughout the year, but I will say that I will still be heavily active in Trinity's life. Oh, and I'm not looking for anyone to date.
As far as the professional life is concerned, I'm an Air Force Staff Sergeant and a broadcaster for the American Forces Network. I'm currently the News Director for AFN-Osan in South Korea. I try to stay humble and down to earth (I have a huge pet peeve with egos) But I'm always wanting to learn more in my craft, so I may talk about work a lot.
If I'm not talking about work, then I'll be talking about my daughter. I really miss Trinity. Some of the home videos that I put together are over to the left. It really sucks that I'm having to be away from her for the year that I'm in Korea, but every chance I get to spend with her, I'm soooo there. She is my little bit.
