Today I come to you with truth and honesty
I have some unresolved issues that is concerning both you and me
I have to live my life today, as if it is my last day
So, I’m stepping out and I’m not going to hold back anymore from the things I’ve been longing to say
One thing is for sure, is that you know that I love you
And I will never doubt in my heart & mind, that you love me too
Everyday of my life, I think of you and sometimes I cry and then I pray
I ask the Lord, “Why do I continue to give all my love to Him, For Him to just push me away
Every time I get used to being close to you and enjoying the time That we spend together
I start hoping that this is the time that things will get better
But then, all of sudden, things take a turn and they start to change
We don’t talk as often as we used to and it doesn’t feel the same
The last time I saw you, I felt as though we said good bye And what we had just disappeared
You have spoken some things to me this last time, That I’ve been longing to hear
But the truth of it is…that we get close and then we drift apart
You are so beautiful inside and out, and you always be close to my heart
Each day that goes by I miss you more, if this were my last day and I were to die
I would say to you, “You love me and then you leave me” So my question to you is….WHY?
