This portion of my profile would only ever be accurate if I were listening to my headphones. And so I have my "Plane Ride" Playlist playing.. I put this together on my iTunes after an INCREDIBLE trip to Florida with my sister , Rachael (over a month ago now).. I came back on an airplane on which I wrote a detailed record of the life-changing experience that I had. My spirit is more keen because of it. So I listen again to that music and am brought to that keen place again... (Rufus Wainwright, the Verve, Amelie (Yann Tierson), Fiona Apple, Ginny Owens, Feist, Mr. Mayer, Sonya.. a grand mix of passion and creative movements that inspire me) I love humans. I love freedom. I love having a Savior. I love the Warrior Princess Society. For what it is. But for what it has allowed God to do in me. Oh. The heartbeat of my fulfillment is in watching people discover who they are in Christ. It doesn't have to be this revelational, pivotal moment necessarily for them. But being alongside so many people (especially women) on this long-term journey, my favorite moments are in the introspective times like this in my room, when I remember.. I remember how things were and then I remember how they are. Time equals change. I have to keep up with everyone's changes around me. .. I'm changing. I just realized that now as I wrote this. I wanted to say it as if I have to keep up with everyone's changes. BUT, the truth is, I'm changing. Right now even. so Keep up kinda.
Adventure excites me. Outdoors are fun. Indoors are intimate. I love both. Music moves ever forward. I'm on that train. oooh trains! I'd love to go on a train ride just about more than anything... maybe not more than a hot air balloon ride. I love being planted in my home church. The purpose of life is: brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrruuuumm (drumroll) TO LOVE AND KNOW GOD... discover the vastness of that statement in everything you do today and everyday for the rest of your life. that is what my life is like.
