The third annual Rock 4 A Cause is going strong!
This event will be on August 10 in Tacoma.
Every night kids from various villages commute (walk in one big group) into the city to sleep in a safe building to avoid being abducted by the Army. Kids that stay in the villages risk being taken from their families; girls are raped and boys are forced into the child army. The Gulu Project sponsors a rehab center where kids spend 3 months and are taught that God loves them and that the brutality that they have faced is not how life really is and God has a better plan for their life. World Vision also helps transition the children back into their families.
