About Me
Barnsdall Park is dedicated to promoting the arts through exhibitions, workshops, classes, music and theatrical events. The park operates as a division of the Department of Cultural Affairs of the City of Los Angeles and maintains facilities designed to contribute to the quality of life for its citizens. Among these are the Municipal Art Gallery, the Junior Art Center, the Barnsdall Art Center and the Barnsdall Gallery Theatre. In addition the park is home to the only Frank Lloyd Wright house in Los Angeles that is open to the public. Hollyhock House is internationally recognized and attracts thousands of tourists annually.
