Jump aboard and help support and promote our friends, The Ray Gradys!On the eve of June 9th, Jake and Andrew of SSF (local band near Myrtle Beach) set out to go see The Ray Gradys for the first time. The young men left the show later that morning and decided that they liked The Ray Gradys...a lot. So, we (Jake and Andrew) decided to make a Ray Gradys Street Team for Myrtle Beach because we noticed that no one had done so yet even though The Ray Gradys have been playing in the Myrtle Beach area for like 5 years or something...also, check out the bands Dead Center and The Hollywood Water Rats.Since 1996 The Ray Gradys have been impressing audiences across the U.S. with their creative songwriting and outspoken lyrics. The music is a blend of West Coast punk and East coast hardcore, but is still influenced by old school '77 style punk rock. Since the Creation of the Ray Gradys, they have released 6 cd's and been touring both coasts of the U.S. as much as possible. In 2002 founding members Earl & Jon decided to move the band from Charlotte, North Carolina to Philadelphia, PA in hopes of widening their fan base and to be closer to a greater range of venues that book bands such as their own. Since the addition of Mike Yak on drums they have progressed into one of the tightest and most entertaining bands in the Philadelphia area playing numerous shows with good humor, stage presence and just putting on a damn good show! So If you're ready for Originality in a sea of music that has washed up and out. Get ready for The Ray Gradys.
