No bullsh*t, no drugs, NO PLUR and NO HAPPY! It’s all about the NOIZE!
FIRST LADY PRODUCTIONS, the creator of Abuse, Noize Disorder and the co-creator of Hardcore Invasion invite you to Sydney’s first ALL ages, ALL gabber and ALL Australian dj & producer line up.
Showcasing the finest, phattest and most famous hardcore line up that Sydney has ever produced!
To ensure this party delivers the best gabber night Sydney as EVER had, FIRST LADY has hand picked the line up, insuring that all types of real hardcore (happy isn’t hard!) will be played! Established performers as well as up n comers will be representing the ‘core.
Performers at OBSCENE GESTURES will take us back to when hardcore first began. Spinning early hardcore tracks like “Here’s Johnnyâ€, to old skool Dutch hardcore, to Italian industrial, nu style, doom and gloom, speedcore, noisecore and AUSSIE HARDCORE!!!
Invited to play are DEP AFFECT (Perth) and DIS FUNKSHEN from the most recognised record label in hardcore’s scene - The Third Movement. These two producers are the only Aussie producers fortunate enough to be signed to Promo’s exclusive record label. This will be DEP AFFECT’S first performance at an all ages hardcore party in Sydney. DIS FUNKSHEN has been producing and pushing an industrial inspired sound, working side by side with PROMO and has played at events such as the infamous hardcore club, Club Raw in The Netherlands. He has also played at large parties such as Utopia under his old alias, MAYHEM.
We also have Sydney’s most popular hardcore dj, CTRIX performing as NEXUS PROJECT along side REFRESH. NEXUS PROJECT is the rave scene’s most well-known gabber duo. CTRIX will also be performing a solo set as TYMON, his alias as a producer. TYMON has been signed to Industrial Strength Records, and will be representing Australian industrial hardcore!
Now we can’t have a party without some eye candy! So OBSCENE GESTURES has selected 2 female dj’s that are making a name for their selves. VANTH and NEFARIOUS. VANTH has played at numerous large parties, and is rumoured to be named Sydney’s Queen Of Hardcore! If she is, then NEFARIOUS is easily the princess. NEFARIOUS has been a regular on Sydney’s only hardcore radio show, Hardcore Overload 89.3fm.
Over the years we have seen a progression of nu style and industrial hardcore dominating the gabber parties, but SHOWBOAT and A4H will be taking us back to a time where labels such as Mokum and D Boy ruled the decks. These lads specialise in making the dance floor, do just that, and dance. So get ready to hear some of your favourite old skool tracks.
And what’s a party without partycore?! DJ PETER and TWITCH will be hitting the decks head to head, as they battle out some of the more melodic hardcore tunes. They will be warming up the crowd, with some lighter ‘core before the party digs deep, into the realms of noisecore. As well as partycore, they will be playing gabber trance, and gabber house.
Gabber trance. Who else but RAZIEL is the master of this genre? With the recent release of his record label Seraphim Records, it was a must for OBSCENE GESTURES to add him to the line up. His one of a kind sound has changed, and progressed Sydney’s hardcore into a new direction.
With new directions, come new sounds. RETALI8 is yet another Australian producer that needed to be selected for this party. His style is Gloom, doom and boom, and he has been the leader of doom in Sydney for over five years. His record label Zerohour Music specialises in music you can hustle to.
Tera Australis – This record label owned by THE TERRORIST has established itself as one of, if not Australia’s most well known hardcore label. THE TERRORIST has supported the hardcore scene for over ten years, and has also signed Aussie producers / mcs such as MANIA, NERV DAMAGE, TRENDKILL AND MC MEST.
NERV DAMAGE and TRENDKILL will be representing the TERA, as well as going back to back in one of their first sets at an all ages party. Speedcore and nu style are their specialties.
AND LAST, but definitely OBESCENE GESTURES will be the host of THE TERRORIST’S latest record release! HEAR IT FIRST AT OBSCENE GESTURES!

LILITH - FIRST LADY demo will be up on the net soon to download. Or when I can be fucked uploading it. Has a mix old skool nustyle with some industrial hardcore. This mix was done for Rival Bazz a hardcore vs hardcstyle party in August 2005, when I was djing (no longer djing as promoters don't want to book a female gabber dj that attracts lads and trouble to parties. Pfft, I say suck on a fart). So instead, I have become a promoter, and have started booking people I believe are talented, and who doing what they do because they are passionate. Whether they be gabber djs or hip hop mcs.
