About Me

CHECK OUT MY BAND: SKUNK APE http://www.myspace.com/flskunkape
I've spent the last 6 months traveling the USA in my conversion Van. I have more trip to do, the west coast and the rockies still. Hopefully I'll find the perfect place to live but it's not likely. A lot of people ask me my favorite places from my trip or places I might want to live, well here they are: 1. St. Mary's Georgia/Cumberland Island - A small cute town just over the Florida border from Jacksonville, not too much to do unless you like to fish, and to get to the beach you have to take a ferry out to the island. On the island there is the remnants of an old estate built partly from stone and Wild Horses everywhere, very few people live on the island. The problem for me would be, no mountain nearby to go hike up, can't just walk over to the ocean.
2. Manteo, Outer Banks, North Carolina, This cute little town really stole my heart, it's about 5 miles from the beach. It's not far from where the Wright Brothers first flew, lots of sailing there in the bay and there is a beautiful little island right next to the town where they have a festival park and a really neat history museum.
3. Vermont, there were at least 2-3 parts of Vermont that I just loved so much. Middle Western part looking across Lake Champlain to New York State. Other places I liked a lot were southwestern and the town of Grafton which was very beautiful, probably not many jobs as it's mostly a town of bed and breakfasts. The problem with Vermont is the winters I just don't think I could handle them, so this rules out the Adirondacks, Chicago and Quebec City all of which I loved.
Nothing else really stands out as much as these 3. I did like San Clemente California a lot.
