About Me

Happy New Year, everybody! May you live like your life depended upon it! I'm not sure if wearing a lampshade on your head counts, but...it happens.

My Interests

I'm interested in people that have charismatic personalities, helping others, dining at great restaurants, photography, running 5k-10k races, acoustic guitar, swimming, golfing, indie film festivals, U.S. travel, sculpture, art exhibits, and singing Karaoke.

I'd like to meet:

Actually, I've already met the members of R.E.M. at the Fox Theatre in St. Louis a few years ago. They were extremely nice. So, mission accomplished.
I made this MySpace Music Player at MyFlashFetish .com.

Music:

Mostely Alternative & Punk: R.E.M., The Postal Service, The Shins, The Flaming Lips, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Green Day, AND U2. My music taste also has a lot of variety including Jazz, Blues, Blue Grass, 80's Rock, Classical, Electronica, Movie Soundtracks.

Movies:

Stranger Than Fiction, Spiderman 2, Forrest Gump, True Romance, High Fidelity, Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, Corpse Bride, Code 46, The Shawshank Redemption, Millions, What Dreams May Come, Memento, Batman Begins, Raging Bull, The Aviator, The Departed, Black Dahlia, Babel, Match Point, Punch Drunk Love, Magnolia, Fargo, The Big Lebowski, Something About Mary, Beverly Hills Cop, Pleasantville, Me, Myself, & Irene, The Truman Show, Contact, E.T., Finding Nemo, Galaxy Quest, The Graduate, i Am Sam, Rat Race, Spanglish, Ocean's Eleven, Love Actually, Say Anything, The Princess Bride, and Some Like It Hot. I like a good trilogy, now and again. Who Doesn't? My Favorites include: Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, Back To The Future, Austin Powers, The Matrix, Lord of The Rings and, of course, Star Wars and The Godfather. Oh, and Toy Story, Ice Age, Saw, and Pirates Of The Carribean, thus far.

Television:

Currently I watch The Simpsons, Futurama re-runs, Seinfeld re-runs, The Office, Lost, Family Guy, Heroes, Friday Night Lights, Studio 60, Scrubs, and an occasional SNL. I watched the first season of The Apprentice, the second season of American Idol and The Last Comic Standing, and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. The most disturbing, artistic, and interesting series I have seen was HBO's Six Feet Under.

Books:

Graphic Novels mostly or an occasional book recommended by a friend. I check a lot of books out at the library, but usually never get around to reading most of them.

Heroes:

Todd Schoor, Charles Shultz, Jack Handy, my family
