Crush N Gusher

About Me

The newest attraction at Typhoon Lagoon is the "Crush "N" Gusher" "water coaster" located in the new Hideaway Bay section of Typhoon Lagoon. Themed around an abandoned and decaying tropical fruit processing center, this thrill ride is unique to North America. Guests ride in two or three person rafts, choosing between three different slides, the "Banana Blaster", "Coconut Crusher" or "Pineapple Plunger", that range from 410 to 420 feet (125 to 128 m) long. Each section propels you through twists and turns, tunnels and spillways as you slip and slide towards the final plunge into Hideaway Bay. You'll encounter water jets that will push you forwards while careening up the slopes of this attraction

My Interests

Each slide averages over 400 feet (120 m) One slide can fill a regular home pool in a minute The Crush 'n' Gusher can fill the 2.7 million US gallon (10,000 m³) wave pool in about 3 hours The water jets put out 1350 US gallons a minute (85 L/s) There is a height restriction of 48 inches (1.22 m) for each of the slides In addition to the "water coaster" there is an expanded beach area and wading pools at Hideaway Bay.
