My Interests

The diversity of Digital Photography interfacing with a powerful computer and the high end programs available. I love all aspects of Art and enjoy creating myself. Science, Technology and History I find very fascinating as well. These are just a few of my interests.

I'd like to meet:

Who I'd like to meet?
Everyone of you ~ only if you are in a good mood!
Some words to ponder...
A man found a cocoon of a butterfly. One day a small opening appeared, he sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through that little hole. Then it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could and it could go no farther.
Then the man decided to help the butterfly, so he took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon. The butterfly then emerged easily. But it had a swollen body and small, shriveled wings. The man continued to watch the butterfly because he expected that, at any moment, the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support the body, which would contract in time.
Neither happened! In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and shriveled wings. It never was able to fly.
What the man in his kindness and haste did not understand was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening were God's way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon.
Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our life. If God allowed us to go through our life without any obstacles, it would cripple us. We would not be as strong as what we could have been. And we could never fly.
THE OROBORUS HAS ARRIVED; EMBRACE YOUR REBIRTH!

Music:

I am as diverse as a person can be when it comes to music. The only thing is that it should be played
24/7 + DAMN LOUD!
Life without music is just as sad as life without laughing!
LOOK FOR THE PRESENCE; IT IS EVERYWHERE

Television:

I like the occasional documentaries and informative shows.
As far as regular TV all the plot lines have been rehashed over and over and over so many times. I have learned to detatch myself from TV's grip many years ago. Listening to music, especially Sirius, has taken over the place of sitting around watching the "tube!"

Books:

I tend to enjoy books that dwell into the technical aspect of our lives. I find history books fascinating and especially art history books for that matter.
Fictional material I can do without for the most part.

Heroes:

There are far too few recognized heroes today and the ones that the media and society glorify are a joke.
The heroes of today in my opinion are the ones who embrace danger on a daily basis. The police, fireman, soldiers for an example plus all those behind the scenes we don't even consider. Bless them all!!
And perhaps the hero is all of us when we watch out and help our children or our parents, neighbors, lovers or even strangers for that matter.
"We all need someone we can lean on, and if you want to, you can lean on me!
Of course if we could all just emulate the purest hero shown in the photo below, this would truly be a beautiful earth. Peace, Love & Light!
