Christine loved meeting positive people that were creative, spontaneous, honest, intelligent and full of life. Christine LOVED to laugh at herself and others; laughing is the most radiant aspect of being alive. life is too short to be angry when you can be shaking up a martini or spinning an awesome record. she loathed dancing, yet with the right friendly dance partner, she would have been all yours to shake her silly body under those disco lights. she truly felt that the purpose of friendships, old and new alike, were to create something greater than we can create alone; not because of any deficiency or incompleteness in us, but because each of us are unique, with our own talents and abilities, and in friendship we increase the efforts and talents available for creating something meaningful together. all friendships, whether romantic, creative or professionally-based, can be powerful relationships for personal growth. in friendship we harness the power of union. she felt that it's important to choose our friendships consciously. sometimes forged too quickly during times of need, we may find ourselves rushing into unions with perhaps not the clearest intentions. friendships created from those starting points might serve our immediate needs, but the repercussions of a union so quickly fostered w/out much thought can be difficult to recover from. granted, there's something to learn from every relationship, but looking to another to fix or complete us can turn a partnership into a dependent bond. if we can stay clear about what we want and what we need in a friendship, while staying grounded and remembering that we are our own source of happiness and fulfillment, we can create friendships that support and enhance the best of who we ultimately are.everyone in our lives is a mirror relflecting back the parts we love and dislike about ourselves. if we have the courage to recognize our reflections in each other, we can grow through those that we connect with in life; one that offers both acceptance of who we are and an opportunity for personal transformation. this can be fertile ground for growing a healthy, lasting union. when we find this kind of harmony w/in ourselves and others, we are more likely to want to keep it, invest in it and nurture it. life is a collaborative effort. together we are stronger because our personal power is multiplied by two. through the joys of friendship, we experience the joys of working, living and loving together.Christine leaves all of you wonderful sparkles of light with this: "those that bring happiness into the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves" ~ sir walter barrie
