I am here for Friends

About Me

Well, it all started on a cold Sunday in November... unfortunately, it kinda stopped there too. I'm an English education major at USC, where I learn how to be a complete ass and argue about stupid crap only I care about... It's fun! I'm also an incurable music junkie. I love 90's rock, Punk, Motown, Hard rock, Metal, Underground rap, Soft rock, 80's, Psychedelic, funk, jazz, New Wave... are you still reading this? I'm sorry. I love to read everything but harlequin and computer manuals, and I rarely watch television. I like ponies, long walks off of short piers, and those bathroom cryptogram puzzles. OH, I also a massive dork, I get it. There's more than that, but you'd have to ask me personally I suppose.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Pat Conroy... the man is brilliance personified, and Greg Graffin, for the same reason. Umm.. other than that, I think I'm good. I know I would NOT like to meet anyone who sends a message that says "Hey, I like your profile"... It gives me a headache.

Music:

Bad Religion, Tool, Isabelle's Gift, Face to Face, Pearl Jam, No Use for a Name, The Lawrence Arms, NOFX, Pulley, Machine Head, Nirvana, Deftones, Angie Aparo, The Juliana Theory, Strung Out, Tori Amos, Natalie Merchant, Soundgarden, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Sponge, Bad Astronaut, Jawbreaker, Armchair Martian, Eskimo Joe, Something With Numbers, Avail, Me First, Whole Wheat Bread, Sage Francis, Against Me!, Snuff, Lagwagon, Echo 7, Temple of the Dog, Idle Sons, The Platters, Led Zeppelin, Skillet, The Wallflowers, Trust Company, Reveille, Pink Floyd, Jewel, Stone Temple Pilots, Flogging Molly, At the Drive In, Alice in Chains ... and so on.

Movies:

Monty Python and the Holy Grail is the best movie ever created, hands down, no arguments accepted. Life is Beautiful comes in a very close second.

Television:

I don't generally watch much television. Scrubs is good, I like Forensic Files a lot too. But I rarely watch either of them.

Books:

Pat Conroy's "Beach Music", Ian Pears' "An Instance of the Fingerpost", Dante's "Divine Comedy", Michael Crichton's "A Case of Need", Christopher Pike "Season of Passage", Dean Koontz' "The Door to December", Shakespeare's "King Lear", Edmund Spenser "The Faerie Queen", John Connoly "Every Dead Thing", Steven King "Bag of Bones",
