Real People
Started with Bob Marley and the Wailers and The Police. Moved on to Hendrix, The Beatles of course, Yes. Then on to Depeche Mode, The Cure, The Smiths, U2, Peter Gabriel. Heavy stuff includes Stone Temple Pilots, Nirvana, Bad Brains, Green Day. The best world music I've heard is a guy called Abdelli. Check it out! Most recent pick ups are Paul Oakenfold's latese release 'A Lively Mind' and Depeche Mode's latest which is incredible as always.
Basquiat, Jaws, Sideways, No Direction Home, Hamlet, Annie Hall, Manhatten, Ken Burns documentaries, Bourne Identity. Woody Allen's latest one Match Point was dark. Loved it!
Used to like it. Now I don't.
Whitman, Kerouac, Keats, anything on Everest. Sometimes I stick to magazines. National Geographic, Time Magazine, Scientific American.
Certainly my sister Angelica without whom I probably never would've even been on Myspace. Family is where it starts for me.
